1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Timebook, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Timebook is a code snapshot and version control service that allows you to:

• Create automatic snapshots of your code projects
• Browse and restore previous versions of your code
• Download project archives (Pro plan only)
• Manage multiple projects based on your subscription plan

3. Account Registration

To use Timebook, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans

Timebook offers Free and Pro subscription plans:

• Free Plan: 1 project, 200 MB storage per project, 30 days snapshot history
• Pro Plan: Unlimited projects, 2 GB storage per project, unlimited snapshot history, project downloads

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will enter read-only mode after a grace period.

5. Payment and Billing

Pro plan payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Provide valid payment information
• Allow automatic monthly billing
• Be responsible for any applicable taxes

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support for refund requests.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purposes
• Upload malicious code or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Abuse rate limits or attempt to overload our infrastructure

7. Data Ownership and Licensing

You retain all rights to the code and data you upload to Timebook. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Timebook. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Timebook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your code.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Timebook after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
